CLI reference
Every subcommand the manager ships, grouped by what you are doing. Everything the desktop app does is reachable here.
Mods
axiom new <name> --lang <cpp|rust|cs|java|go|zig> --tier <w|n|s>
axiom build [--release] [--target <triple>]
axiom check manifest, capability names, IDL
axiom install <artifact> --game <id> [--pack <id>]
axiom uninstall <mod-id> --game <id>
axiom list --game <id>
axiom enable <mod-id> --game <id>
axiom disable <mod-id> --game <id>
axiom profile <mod-id> writes a trace
axiom check runs the same validation the registry does at publish, so a mod that checks clean will not be rejected for a manifest problem.
Games and attaching
axiom games scan
axiom games list
axiom games add <path> [--pack <id>]
axiom attach <game-id> [--no-overlay]
axiom detach <game-id>
axiom launch <game-id> launch, then attach
Nothing is injected until you say so
attach, launch and the manager’s Launch button are the only paths. There is no background service watching for game launches unless you turn one on per game.Packs
axiom pack new <name> [--from-process <exe>]
axiom pack status [--game <id>] which questions are answered, by whom
axiom pack build [--native] wasm by default, no install prompt
axiom pack verify [--build <id>]
axiom pack test [--build <id>] [--capability <name>]
axiom pack publish [--tag <channel>]
axiom pack install <pack-id> [--version <v>]
axiom pack list --game <id>
axiom pack switch <pack-id> --game <id>
axiom pack fork <pack-id> --as <new-id>
Keys and signing
axiom key new <name>
axiom key list
axiom key export <name> --public
axiom sign <artifact> --key <name>
axiom verify <artifact>
axiom trust add <key-fingerprint>
axiom trust list
Keys are generated locally and never leave the machine. There is no escrow and no way for the registry to sign on your behalf. A key rotation is a new trust decision for everyone who trusted the old one, which is correct even though it is mildly annoying.
Diagnostics
axiom doctor backends, runtimes, permissions
axiom logs [--game <id>] [--follow] [--mod <id>]
axiom caps --game <id> the negotiated capability set
axiom symbols --game <id> resolution state, per symbol
axiom version --verbose core, surface, backends, packs
axiom caps is the first thing to run when a mod will not load. It prints the negotiated set with where each capability came from, next to the mod’s requirements, which answers almost every Denied question in one screen.
